Russia imposes temporary air traffic restrictions at four airports
Russia has introduced temporary restrictions on the reception and release of airplanes at the airports of Kazan, Kirov, Saratov and Ulyanovsk, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).
“To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, temporary restrictions on the reception and release early this morning were introduced at the airports of Kazan, Kirov, Saratov and Ulyanovsk,” Rosaviatsiya said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
The Agency said aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.
Earlier, it became known that on the night of February 11, Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel attacked Saratov Region. Air raid alarms were sounding. Special services are in full readiness. Against the background of reports of attacks, residents were notified about delays of suburban trains.
