Russia launches ballistic missiles, strike drones on Ukraine overnight Most intercepted

On the night of November 17 to 18, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using Iskander-M ballistic missiles and strike drones, with most targets intercepted by Ukrainian air defences, according to the Ukrainian Air Forces.

“On the night of November 17 to 18, the enemy launched four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russia’s Rostov and Voronezh regions, along with 114 strike drones, including around 70 Shahed drones,” the Air Forces said, per RBC-Ukraine.

Preliminary data as of 08:30 indicate that 101 drones were shot down or neutralised by Ukrainian air defences.

Meanwhile, four missiles and 13 strike drones hit 15 locations, with debris reported in two additional areas.
