Russia launches carrier rocket military satellite

A Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with a Defence Ministry satellite has been launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia's Arkhangelsk Region. This is the second military satellite launched from Plesetsk in a week.

The launch was carried out at 10:03 a.m. on December 27. It is not reported what time the rocket should put the satellite into orbit and when it will be put into operation, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Defence Ministry,
