Russia launches six missiles at Ukraine from Caspian Sea Four were intercepted

The Ukrainian Air Force has said that the Russian army fired six missiles at Ukraine from the Caspian Sea on July 16 afternoon.

“The missiles were launched at about 15:20 - GMT+3 [16:20 Baku time] via Tu-95MS strategic bombers. Russia fired six X-101(X-555) missiles,” UNIAN reports referring to the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the message, four missiles were destroyed by air by Ukraine’s defence units of the Vostok Air Command in Zaporizhzhya in the Dnipropetrovsk region at around 16:30.

“The rest of the rockets hit an agricultural enterprise in the Cherkasy region. The details of damage and casualties are being clarified,” the message said.
