Russia lifts ban on petrol exports

The Russian government has lifted a ban on petrol exports for fuel producers until June 30.

At the same time, the restrictions remain in place for the period from 1 July to 31 August, Vesti.ru reports, citing the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The government noted that the decision to relax the ban was taken in connection with the saturation of the domestic market of motor fuel, as well as the need to free the ports from the fuel planned for export before the introduction of restrictions.
