Russia’s air defences down 124 Ukrainian drones overnight — Defence Ministry
Russian air defence forces shot down 124 Ukrainian drones over several regions of Russia during the night of March 7, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
The largest number of drones — 29 — were intercepted over Bryansk Oblast. Another 15 UAVs were downed over Oryol Oblast, while 11 were destroyed over Belgorod Oblast.
Nine drones were eliminated over Ryazan Oblast, eight over Kaluga Oblast, and seven over Voronezh Oblast.
Air defence units also shot down six drones each over Kursk Oblast, Rostov Oblast, and Volgograd Oblast. Five drones were intercepted over Tula Oblast and Samara Oblast.
Three UAVs were destroyed over Lipetsk Oblast and the Moscow region, including one drone heading toward Moscow.
Two drones each were shot down over Saratov Oblast and Ulyanovsk Oblast, while another UAV was intercepted over Ivanovo Oblast.
