Russia's major aircraft-carrying cruiser catches fire

In the Russian city of Murmansk, a fire broke out on the aircraft-carrying cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov, but it was quickly extinguished, said the head of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, Alexei Rakhmanov.

According to him, there was no damage or casualties. Twenty people were evacuated, Kommersant reports.

“There is a small kurtosis during the repair work. The fire is extinguished. All relevant fire systems worked properly. There is no damage or casualties,” Rakhmanov said.
