Russia's richest billionaires loss $94 billion since early 2022
The combined wealth of Russia's richest businessmen has fallen by $93.616 billion since the start of 2022.
The richest of the billionaires, one of the main owners of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin, has lost $2.17 billion since early 2022. Now his fortune has decreased to $28.7 billion, Gazeta.Ru reports, referring to Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI).
The second-richest Russian tycoon, a co-owner of Novatek, Leonid Mikhelson has lost $7.12 billion, and his fortune has fallen to $25.3 billion. Alexey Mordashov closes the top three, whose fortune has decreased by $9.12 billion, to $19.1 billion.
In mid-September, Bloomberg reported that the wealth of the richest Americans decreased by $93 billion after the collapse of the US stock market amid worse-than-expected inflation data. It is specified that the situation has become the ninth largest daily loss in history.
