Russia says 40 Ukrainian drones destroyed across seven regions overnight
Russian air defence systems destroyed 40 Ukrainian drones overnight across seven regions of the country, the Defence Ministry said on November 5.
The Ministry noted that the highest number — 11 drones — was intercepted over the Voronezh Region, per Caliber.Az.
Other drones were shot down over the following regions:

eight in the Rostov Region,

six each in the Kursk Region and over Crimea,

five in the Bryansk Region,
-
two each in the Belgorod and Oryol Regions.
Oryol Region Governor Andrey Klychkov said several private houses and an outbuilding were damaged during the attack. In the Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar reported that drones were downed in the Kamensky, Verkhnedonskoy, Chertkovsky, and Konstantinovsky districts, adding that there were no casualties.
In the Voronezh Region, Governor Alexander Gusev announced a drone attack alert early in the morning but later confirmed no injuries. Similarly, Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz said there were no casualties or destruction.
Officials in the remaining regions have not yet commented on the consequences of the attacks.
