Russia says downs Ukraine drone over Belgorod

Russian air defence forces destroyed one Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod region on the night of May 28 to 29.

“During the past night, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to launch a terrorist attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle of the aeroplane type and a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher against facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry’s Telegram channel.

The channel added that “the air defence forces on duty destroyed one UAV and seven Grad MLRS rockets over the territory of the Belgorod region”.
