Russia says seven Ukrainian drones destroyed overnight
Russian air defence forces have intercepted and destroyed seven Ukrainian drones overnight, the country’s Defense Ministry has stated.
According to the ministry, three drones were shot down over Crimea, two over the Bryansk region, and one each over the Lipetsk and Ulyanovsk regions, Caliber.Az reports.
No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
In a previous such counterattack, Russian air defence forces intercepted 41 drone-type aircraft over 12 regions of Russia and the Black Sea, per the Russian Defence Ministry.
The breakdown of the interceptions is as follows: 12 drones over the Bryansk region, five each over the Kaluga region and Bashkiria, three over the Moscow region, two each over the Belgorod and Orel regions, and one each over the Volgograd, Kursk, Ryazan, Tambov, Tula, and Samara regions. Additionally, six drones were shot down over the Black Sea.
