Russia shoots down over 680 aerial targets in 24 hours

Russia has said that its air defence forces intercepted more than 680 aerial targets within a 24-hour period, the Russian Ministry of Defence said on March 2.

In a statement, the ministry said that the air defence units had shot down four guided aerial bombs, three US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system missiles, two Neptune long-range guided missiles, and 679 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, Caliber.Az reports.
