Russia strikes ignite explosions, fires across Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson PHOTO / VIDEO
Overnight on February 12, explosions struck several districts of Kyiv, causing damage to residential buildings.
Ukrainian emergency services reported the incidents were the result of a Russian attack.
In the Darnytskyi district, debris damaged the façade and windows of an apartment building, leaving one person injured.
In the Dniprovskyi district, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) fell near two residential locations, but no casualties were reported.
Separately, in the Holosiivskyi district, a car exploded. Police say the blast was triggered by a gas installation, and no injuries have been reported.
Moreover, on February 11, in the Kherson region, an explosion and subsequent fire occurred at a petrol station after a Russian FPV drone struck a lorry carrying a tank.
According to the State Emergency Service, firefighters, despite challenging safety conditions, extinguished the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading to the station’s building and equipment. No one was injured.
On the same day, in the town of Barvinkove, Izium District (Kharkiv region), a Russian drone, reportedly of the “Geran-2” type, struck a shop, causing a fire.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, ten people were injured and suffered acute stress reactions.
