Russia to draft 135,000 citizens this autumn

Russia will conscript 135,000 citizens aged 18 to 30 for military service between 1 October and 31 December 2025, according to a decree signed by President Vladimir Putin.

The official announcement, published on the Russian government’s legal information portal, outlines both the conscription of new recruits and the discharge of those completing their mandatory service during the October–December period.
