Russia to shield itself from drones with novel Zubr air defence systems VIDEO
Rostec’s “High-Precision Systems” holding company has, for the first time, delivered the latest “Zubr” systems to the Russian Armed Forces to protect infrastructure from drones.
“Rostec’s ‘High-Precision Systems’ holding has, for the first time, supplied the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with the latest ‘Zubr’ systems, designed to shield infrastructure facilities from drones. The radar stations included in the system can detect both large and small aerial targets,” the holding told TASS.
The Zubr airspace monitoring and control complex is intended to protect the close perimeter of critical infrastructure. It ensures detection of aerial targets, including small drones and loitering munitions, at any time of day or night.
