Russia, Ukraine conduct latest exchange of fallen troops

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged the bodies of military personnel killed in the conflict, Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots said on August 13.

Thus, as part of the exchange, Russia handed Ukraine the bodies of 261 Ukrainian servicemen, while 24 bodies of Russian servicemen were returned to Russia, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Another exchange of bodies. We have just handed over 261 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen to Ukraine. Twenty-four of our fallen heroes have returned to Russia,” Kots wrote.
