Russia, Ukraine set for new exchange of fallen soldiers' bodies

Russia and Ukraine are scheduled to carry out another exchange of the bodies of fallen servicemen on July 16.

The information was confirmed by Shamsail Saraliyev, a member of the State Duma and a representative of the parliamentary coordination group overseeing issues related to what Russia officially describes as its "special military operation."

Saraliyev did not disclose the number of bodies to be exchanged or provide additional details about the operation.

The planned exchange follows a series of previous humanitarian repatriation efforts conducted by the two sides despite the ongoing conflict. Such exchanges have remained one of the few areas of practical cooperation between Moscow and Kyiv since the outbreak of the war.
