Russian actor found dead after fishing trip
The body of Russian actor Alexander Vysokovsky, best known for his role in the acclaimed television series “Brigade”, has been found in the Oka River in Russia's Moscow Region.
“According to preliminary information, Vysokovsky's body was found in the Oka River in the Moscow Region,” a source told Russian news agency.
The report has not yet been officially confirmed by the actor's family or close relatives.
According to media reports, Vysokovsky had gone fishing with his son when he disappeared from sight. His wife, Liliya, later reported him missing, prompting a search operation involving volunteer rescue teams.
Vysokovsky gained nationwide recognition for portraying Max Karelsky in the landmark 2002 Russian crime drama “Brigade”, one of the country's most influential television series.
