Russian actress and TV host Veronika Ganich dies at 59

Russian actress and television host Veronika Ganich has passed away at the age of 59.

Ganich graduated from the Shchukin Theatre School and the Faculty of Journalism. She worked for Radio Maximum and appeared on Russian television channels Rossiya 1 and NTV. As an actress, she was known for her role as a detective’s assistant in the series Kulagin and Partners.

In addition to her media career, Ganich organised culinary tours in France and produced the show Geography of Taste. Her 2016 bestseller, The Best Day of the Year, received the Food Show Awards.

Ganich is remembered for her contributions to Russian media, theatre, and culinary broadcasting.
