Russian Aeroflot to suspend flights to UAE amid regional tensions

Russian Aeroflot announced that it will suspend all flights to and from the United Arab Emirates starting March 11, citing the need to halt operations “until the situation in the region normalizes.”

On that day, the airline will operate two final flights from Dubai to Moscow for passengers with previously purchased tickets. According to the airline’s press service, the flights—SU525 and SU521 on the Dubai–Moscow route—are scheduled to depart at 13:10 and 15:40 local time.

“Aeroflot emphasizes that on March 11 the airline will suspend all flights to and from the UAE. Flights will resume once the situation in the region stabilizes,” the statement noted.
