Russian air defence downs 24 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions
The Russian Defence Ministry announced that its air defence forces successfully intercepted and destroyed a total of 24 Ukrainian drones last night.
According to the report, eight UAVs were shot down in the Kursk region, while another eight were neutralized over Bryansk, Caliber.Az reports.
Additionally, three drones were downed in Oryol, and two in Belgorod.
The ministry further stated that one UAV was destroyed over the Rostov and Nizhny Novgorod regions, highlighting ongoing military operations to counter UAV threats.
Several fuel and energy facilities have been targeted in a Ukrainian drone attack on the central Russian region of Bashkortostan, causing minimal damage and no casualties.
Russian forces captured the settlement of Yasna Poliana in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, the Russian Defence Ministry noted.
