Russian Air Defence Forces intercept 27 Ukrainian drones

Russian air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed 27 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported the event, which took place across two regions, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry’s Telegram channel.

According to the Ministry, on-duty air defence units effectively neutralized 26 UAVs over the Rostov region. Additionally, one more UAV was intercepted and destroyed over the Smolensk region.

"On-duty air defence systems destroyed and intercepted 26 UAVs over the territory of the Rostov region, and one UAV was destroyed over the territory of the Smolensk region," the ministry's statement read.
