Russian air defence shoots down drone approaching Moscow

Moscow’s air defence forces successfully intercepted and shot down a drone flying towards the capital, the city’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin said on July 18.

According to Sobyanin's post on Telegram, the Ministry of Defence’s air defence system neutralised the drone, and emergency service teams are currently working at the site where the debris fell, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier, the mayor also stated that two other drones flying towards Moscow had been destroyed.
