Russian-Armenian businessman says he has “secret plan” to oust Pashinyan
Russian-Armenian businessman and Tashir Group President Samvel Karapetyan has stated that he has a "secret plan" to remove Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from power.
Karapetyan said he will not disclose the secret plan and will choose the path of removing Pashinyan as quickly as possible, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
“If necessary, a street protest movement will also be mobilised. But for now, we are pursuing legal means," Karapetyan noted.
He also said several political forces had responded to his call for opposition unity, adding that a meeting of opposition leaders would be scheduled after Armenia's Constitutional Court issues its decision.
"Even Pashinyan himself called for people to oppose him from the parliament podium. Soon he will become his own opposition. If we do nothing, Pashinyan will remove himself because he makes mistakes every day," he added.
