Russian arms shipment already in Armenia

A batch of Russian weapons is already in Armenia, Lt.-Gen Gagik Melkonyan, a ruling Civil Contract party member and a member of the parliamentary commission on defence and security issues, told reporters on January 16.

He said that the military products had been recently delivered and they were handed over to the Armenian side within the framework of the contract signed earlier with Russia, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

The former Armenian Deputy Defence Minister did not specify what kind of weapons have been transferred.
