Russian army downs over 100 Ukrainian drones in widespread interceptions
On the night of June 9 to 10, Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 102 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions.
The largest number—46 drones—were neutralised over the Bryansk region, followed by 20 over the Belgorod region, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Nine drones were shot down each over the Voronezh region and Crimea, with four destroyed over both the Kaluga region and Tatarstan. Additionally, three drones were intercepted near Moscow, two each over the Leningrad, Oryol, and Kursk regions, and one over Smolensk.
In a previous such incident, Russian air defence forces destroyed 30 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight from June 4 to 5 over the Rostov, Belgorod, Moscow, and Kursk regions, as well as Crimea, as per the Russian Ministry of Defence.
