Russian army occupied Molchanovo railway station in Kharkiv region
Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction have occupied the railroad station of Molchanovo, Russian Defence Ministry Spokesman Lt Gen Igor Konashenkov said.
"The advancing units have seized the Molchanovo railway station in Kharkiv Region," he said, TASS reports.
According to Konashenkov, air strikes and artillery fire hit the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Kislovka, Berestovoye in the Kharkiv region and Novoselovskoye in the “Luhansk People's Republic”.
"In the area of the locality of Peschanoye Kharkiv region destroyed an ammunition depot of the 103rd brigade of the Territorial Defence," he added.
The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction amounted to up to 70 people.
"Losses of the enemy [Ukraine] for the day amounted to up to 70 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 combat armoured vehicles, 3 vehicles, self-propelled artillery units: Polish-made Krab and Gvozdika, as well as a radar US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery station," Konashenkov said.
