Russian attacks hit Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk, injuring six
At least six people have been injured following a Russian attack on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, with homes and infrastructure damaged, regional officials say.
The area was targeted more than 20 times using drones, artillery and missiles, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
In the Nikopol district, the towns and communities of Nikopol, Pokrovska, Krasnohryhorivska, Marhanets and Myrivska came under fire. Industrial facilities, infrastructure, private homes, a five-storey residential building and an outbuilding were damaged.
Five people were injured in the district, three of whom were taken to the hospital. A 74-year-old man is reported to be in a serious condition.
In Kryvyi Rih, a fire broke out following the attack, with infrastructure and apartment blocks damaged. A 39-year-old man was injured and is receiving outpatient treatment.
Elsewhere, in the Synelnykove district, the communities of Shakhtarske, Vasylkivska and Pokrovska were also hit. A private house and an outbuilding caught fire, and the infrastructure sustained damage.
