Russian court orders arrest of ex-Ukrainian PM in absentia

A Russian court has ruled to arrest former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in absentia.
The decision was announced by the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
According to the court ruling, the suspect in the case involving alleged fake news about the Russian Armed Forces has been placed on the international wanted list.
The charge carries a penalty ranging from a fine of 3 million to 5 million rubles ($39,200—$65,400) to imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
