Russian crypto entrepreneur dies in fiery Lamborghini crash

Well-known cryptocurrency entrepreneur Alexey Dolgikh was killed in a car accident involving a Lamborghini Urus in Moscow, the Telegram channel Baza reported.

According to journalists, there were four people in the vehicle. Dolgikh, who was driving, died at the scene. Another passenger, Ivan Solovyov, also could not be saved.

“Two other men were hospitalised — 21-year-old Nikita Tezikov suffered an open leg fracture, while 22-year-old Kirill Mochalov was taken to Botkin Hospital with multiple fractures,” the publication noted.

The report states that Dolgikh purchased the Lamborghini Urus for 35 million rubles in August last year. Since then, he had accumulated over 500 traffic fines totalling more than 1 million rubles.

“In September last year, the car and its owner were involved in a shooting incident near Patriarch’s Ponds,” the post added.

The Lamborghini Urus crashed in the Russian capital overnight on November 9, at around 1:20 a.m. Moscow time. The vehicle hit a roadside barrier at the 1st km of Mezhdunarodnoye Highway, overturned, and caught fire, the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry in Moscow stated.
