Russian diplomat denies rumours about plans to mobilise 1.2 million people

Press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has said that the information about the alleged plans to call up 1.2 million people in Russia as part of partial mobilisation is as false as the recent information about the mobilisation of one million citizens.

The information that the closed seventh paragraph of the presidential decree allegedly envisages the possibility of conscripting up to one million people is also false, Peskov told TASS on September 23.

The Russian diplomat also confirmed that the information about 1.2 million mobilised is also unreliable.
