Russian drone strike in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk kills two, injures three
Two people were killed and three others injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of a Russian drone attack, local authorities reported.
According to Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), the victims included men aged 43 and 50.
Three others sustained injuries, including a 65-year-old man and a woman hospitalised in serious condition, and an 18-year-old male in moderate condition.
The strike also caused a fire that partially destroyed a private home. Six additional houses, garages, and vehicles were damaged, and one car was completely destroyed, Haivanenko added.
This attack follows a series of recent Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory. On December 1, a missile attack on Dnipro city claimed four lives and injured 41 others.
Earlier, on November 30, Russian forces attacked Vyshhorod, igniting fires in residential buildings and a promotional facility, which resulted in one death and one injury. That strike also involved the use of a cluster (cassette) drone.
On November 29, Russia launched massive strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region, killing two people and injuring one, while cutting electricity to the right bank of the capital.
