Russian foreign minister to hold talks with Turkmen counterpart in Moscow

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to meet with his Turkmen counterpart, Rashid Meredov, on August 28 in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced.

Maria Zakharova, the ministry’s official spokesperson, confirmed the forthcoming bilateral talks, highlighting the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Russia and Turkmenistan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Lavrov will hold talks with Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Meredov on August 28,” Zakharova stated.

The meeting is expected to further strengthen the cooperative ties between the two countries, focusing on key regional and international issues of mutual interest.
