Russian-Hungarian cooperation in space technology will continue - FM

Hungary hopes that cooperation with Russia in the field of space technologies will continue.

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto made the statement in an interview with TASS following a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"Technological cooperation is underway, Hungarian companies are interacting with Russian ones," he said when asked about the two countries' cooperation in the space sphere. - We hope this will continue."

Szijjártó added that Hungary expects to send its astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS) in spring 2025, so "Hungarian astronauts will work with Russian colleagues" aboard the orbital station.
