Russian intel chief discusses meeting with Syrian counterpart in Baku
Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), shared details with Russian media about a productive meeting with a Syrian intelligence official that took place in Baku.
The meeting occurred during a regional conference on Afghanistan held last week, where senior representatives from Middle Eastern and Greater Eurasian nations gathered, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
Among the attendees was a high-ranking official from Syria's intelligence services
Naryshkin described the encounter as “constructive and amicable,” emphasising the positive nature of the discussions.
From April 17-18, Naryshkin participated in the conference titled "Afghanistan: Regional Connectivity, Security, and Development," held in Baku.
