Russian maniac confesses to over 100 murders in three decades PHOTO
Russian authorities report that Alexey Gaskov, born in 1975 in Berdsk, has confessed to committing more than 100 murders since 1995.
In an interview with the news service Vesti, Gaskov stated he “never counted” his victims, adding that only “crazy maniacs” do that.
He also claims to have expressed remorse and cooperated with investigators by submitting confessions.

Gaskov was first suspected in the early 2000s in a series of murders and assaults on young women, though the charges were later dropped. He subsequently moved to Moscow and, in 2007, was sentenced to 10.5 years in prison for the rape of an 11-year-old girl, who was the daughter of his live-in partner.
In 2024, investigators in the Moscow region re-examined evidence in cold cases of murders committed around 20 years ago. Forensic tests confirmed that biological samples from the crime scenes matched Gaskov, linking him to the killings.
