Russian MFA: France's independent role in multipolar world disappearing
Director of the first European department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexei Paramonov has said that France's independent role in the multipolar world is disappearing.
“This is becoming clearer. France’s independent role in the multipolar world, its previous special, unique voice in solving global problems and confronting truly global challenges is disappearing and is often completely lost among other voices,” Gazeta.Ru quotes Paramonov as saying.
He also pointed out that France is not ready to listen to Russia’s concerns in the field of security.
“Our French opponents are not yet ready to heed our long-term warnings about the inadmissibility of ignoring fundamental Russian national interests, including those in the field of defence and security in Europe,” Paramonov added.
