Russian peacekeepers ban ex-Armenian FM to enter Azerbaijan’s Karabakh

Another painful blow has been dealt to the Armenian irreconcilable opposition.

Armenian former foreign minister, head of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisian was banned to enter Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, according to Armenian media.

Russian peacekeepers did not allow Hovhannisian to enter Karabakh, who allegedly was heading to Khankandi for the baptism of his grandson.

“There is such a question for the Russian side. Is there a clause in the tripartite statement dated November 10, 2020, prohibiting Armenians from visiting Karabakh?” the Armenian journalists asked, forgetting that the matter rests in Azerbaijan’s sovereign territory.
