Russian Railways sets up coordination headquarters for stable fuel deliveries
Russian Railways has established a special coordination headquarters to manage the transportation of petroleum products and ensure stable fuel deliveries across regions.
The company said in a post on its official Telegram channel that the new body monitors the acceptance of oil cargoes for transport, taking into account the operational situation, Caliber.Az reports.
“To ensure uninterrupted fuel supply to the regions, Russian Railways operates a coordination headquarters. Its main task is to ensure stable acceptance of oil cargoes for transportation, taking into account the operational situation,” it noted.
The company added that it is working closely with oil producers and is ready to adjust logistics arrangements in response to changing conditions.
Special attention is being paid to jet fuel deliveries to airports, with officials stressing that the logistics system is designed to prevent fuel shortages.
Russian Railways further stressed that it is continuously seeking optimal solutions for cargo acceptance, including on heavily loaded routes, and is accepting maximum volumes permitted by infrastructure capacity.
