Russian security services prevent attack on defence enterprise

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that it has prevented a terrorist attack targeting a defence industry enterprise in the Moscow region.

According to the FSB, the individual behind the planned attack, allegedly acting on orders from Kyiv, was neutralized during the seizure of an improvised explosive device (IED) from a hidden cache at the site.

The agency did not provide additional details about the suspect or the planned timing of the attack but emphasized that the operation successfully averted a potential threat to the strategic facility.
