Russian State Duma to observe Azerbaijani presidential polls

The Russian State Duma will send a delegation to monitor the snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan. State Duma Committee head on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov told TASS.

“Yes, they have already approved it,” he said, answering a corresponding question.

The presidential elections, scheduled for February 7, will be held throughout Azerbaijan for the first time.
