Russian strikes hit Zaporizhzhia region, injuring 10 amid hundreds of attacks
At least 10 people have been injured in Russian strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia and surrounding areas, Ukrainian officials say.
The head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, said Russian forces carried out 713 attacks across 19 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, with the heaviest damage reported in frontline and suburban areas.
According to the regional authorities, the assaults included 19 air strikes, as well as 418 drone attacks, most of them involving FPV drones. Officials also reported six strikes using multiple-launch rocket systems and 270 artillery attacks on various населённые пункты.
Local authorities said they had received 177 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and civilian infrastructure.
Russia has not commented on the reported strikes.
