Russian tourist killed in boat accident in Türkiye PHOTO

A Russian tourist was killed in a boating accident in the Turkish resort city of Antalya, according to Habertürk.

The incident occurred in Kemer, a popular holiday destination, when 42-year-old Linaria Muzipova swam beyond the designated buoyed area. At that moment, a speedboat offering parasailing rides was operating in the zone. The vessel struck the woman at high speed.

Bystanders immediately called for medical assistance, but despite efforts, the tourist could not be saved.

The boat’s captain and owners have been detained, while local authorities temporarily closed off the affected section of the sea for investigation.
