Russian troops receive batch of fifth-generation fighter jets

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, which is part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over new Su-57 and Su-35S fighter jets to the Russian Air and Space Forces (AFS).

"The fifth-generation fighters have been accepted by the technical staff, passed the full cycle of factory tests, tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Russian Ministry of Defence," UAC pointed out, Caliber.Az reports, citing the company's press release.

The aircraft have already been placed on the basing aerodrome.

The corporation also indicated that the Su-57s of the next batches are in varying degrees of readiness. An additional building is being constructed to expand serial production of the fighters.
