Scandalous Armenian blogger arrested in Yerevan

Pro-Russian activist and blogger Mikael (Mika) Badalyan will remain in custody.

The Court of General Jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia partially satisfied the request of the Prosecutor's Office to extend his detention, Caliber.Az reports referring to the Armenian media.

“The Court of General Jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia has decided to partially satisfy the requirements of the prosecutor’s office to extend the detention of the pro-Russian blogger Mika Badalyan for a period of one month,” Badalyan’s Telegram channel reports.

It should be reminded that Mika Badalyan was arrested on May 24 for spreading false information about "terrorist attacks being prepared in Yerevan and beyond."
