Second round of voting in Türkiye's presidential elections ends

Voting in the second round of the presidential elections has ended in Türkiye.

Polling stations closed at 17:00 local time (18:00 Baku time), Caliber.Az reports.

The counting of votes has now begun.

To recap, in the first round, held on May 14, Recep Tayyip Erdogan won 49.52 per cent of the vote, opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu - 44.88 per cent, ATA alliance candidate Sinan Ogan - 5.17 per cent. Voter turnout was 88.92 per cent.
