Security Council: Russia fighting against puppet regime in Ukraine

Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev has said that Russia is fighting against a puppet regime in Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian people will benefit as a result of the defeat of a puppet regime,” he said during the 17th meeting of the secretaries of security councils of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation on August 19, TASS quotes him as saying.

“Russia is fighting against the puppet Kyiv regime, which came to power as a result of a coup d'état organised by Western countries in 2014. The Ukrainian people, who have been foisted with alien values for eight years, will win as a result of the defeat of ultra-right gangs and their patrons among the Ukrainian political elite and oligarchy,” Patrushev noted
