Security council secretary: Iran prepared for long war

Iranian Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, has said that the country is prepared for a prolonged conflict and will fiercely defend itself.

Writing on X, Larijani emphassed that Iran, unlike the United States, did not initiate the current hostilities and that its armed forces have engaged only in defensive actions, Caliber.Az reports.

He added that Iran will protect its "six-thousand-year-old civilization" regardless of the cost and warned that its enemies will regret any miscalculations.
