Serbia seeks co-op with Azerbaijan to build gas-fired power plants

Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović has discussed with the Azerbaijani side the construction of gas-fired power plants in Serbia.

"During the visit to Baku, we discussed the volumes of gas that can be delivered to Serbia from Azerbaijan, and we expect to cover about a third of our needs from here. We have also discussed the possibility of building gas power plants in Serbia, which would also contribute to our energy independence," Report quotes her as saying.
