Seven Turkish police officers wounded in clash during ISIS raid Photo

Turkish police have launched a counterterrorism operation against ISIS at a residence located on the road to the village of Emalik.

An exchange of gunfire occurred during the raid, leaving seven police officers wounded, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

Authorities said the injured officers were taken to hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition and not in life-threatening danger.

Security forces have tightened measures in the area as the operation continues. Special police units from the nearby city of Bursa have also been deployed to support the ongoing effort.
